There are beach vacations, and then there’s Anguilla—a little slice of heaven that might just be my favorite Caribbean island yet. It’s stunning, it’s chill, and best of all, it’s the kind of place where even parents can find actual relaxation. Yes, even with kids in tow!
For this trip, we split our stay between 🔗CeBlue Luxury Villas and 🔗Zemi Beach House, because variety is the spice of life (and also, why not experience all the luxury?). Here’s the lowdown on our week in paradise:
CeBlue Luxury Villas: Next-Level Family Getaway
We started our trip with🔗 two nights at CeBlue, and let me just say—if you’re traveling with family or a group, this is the place to be. Think of it as your own personal luxury compound, complete with:
✔️ Private pool with a sun deck (because #vacationgoals)
✔️ Outdoor shower (so you can feel like a movie star)
✔️ Fully-equipped kitchen (because kids always want snacks)
✔️ Views (unbelievable views!)
✔️ Plenty of space (so you can escape your kids!)
✔️ Concierge service that makes all your dreams come true
(Full review coming soon!)
We spent our days soaking up the pristine views of Crocus Bay, taking dips in our private pool, and fully embracing island life. And then we had homemade pizza delivered to the villa while watching the sunset. Perfection.
Beach-Hopping & Island-Hopping Like Pros
Before heading to our next accommodations, we did some serious beach exploration. First stop: Rendezvous Bay. The water? Crystal clear. The BBQ? Unbelievable. The vibe? A+ with live music, beach dogs, and kids making sandcastles while we sipped rum punches.
Then came one of our favorite adventures—a boat trip to Prickly Pear Cays. This tiny island has:
✔️ A beach straight out of a screensaver
✔️ A little restaurant serving delicious food and drinks
✔️ A total castaway feel (except with snacks and WiFi)The kids ran wild, made friends, and played with the island’s famous birds. We pretty much had the place to ourselves, which felt like winning the vacation lottery.
Zemi Beach House: The Full Resort Experience
Next up: 🔗Zemi Beach House for four nights, which turned out to be the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Highlights included:
✔️ Three pools (including an adults-only infinity pool we made full use of)
✔️ A kids club (aka the best invention for vacationing parents)
✔️ A spa for peak relaxation
✔️ On-site restaurants so no one had to cook
(Full review coming soon!)
We kicked things off at the resort’s Rum Room, because when the kids are happily entertained, it’s time for the parents to celebrate.
The next day, we hopped on a private boat (Gotcha Too) for a scenic ride along the Anguilla coast. We even tried fishing, and—brace yourself—Ben actually caught one! We ended up at Sandy Island, another picture-perfect remote island, where the kids snorkeled and the adults basked in the sun while eating some of the best BBQ and lobster of our lives.
Did we know Anguilla had this much BBQ? No. Are we mad about it? Absolutely not.
Back at the resort, the kids got hair braids at the kids club while we finally checked out the adults-only pool. Everyone won.
More Beach, More Fun
One of the most unforgettable experiences? Horseback riding on the beach at sunset. Not only did we trot along the shoreline, but we actually took the horses into the water. It was straight out of a movie.
One windy day, we returned to Rendezvous Bay (yes, the dog was still there), and we ended up meeting people from all over the world—including some from our own neighborhood! Small world, big beach.
On our last night, we went all out with a fancy dinner at Sharky’s, indulging in (what else?) more grilled lobster. If you visit Anguilla, this spot is a must.
The Grand Finale
Our final morning was spent soaking up every last minute—one more beach stroll, one more dip in the pool, and one more frozen fruit treat (because when in the Caribbean, you must have frozen fruit by the pool). And then, just like that, it was time to say goodbye to paradise.
Anguilla, you were a dream. The beaches, the food, the people, the BBQ—it all made for one of our favorite trips yet. And the best part? It’s one of the few vacations where the kids had just as much fun as the adults.
We’ll be back.
Until next time, stay salty! 🌊☀️🍹
